The story of this painting:

"Friday, 13 November 2015 in Paris, series of coordinated terrorist attacks. The attackers killed 130 people, another 413 were injured…..

I was in shock hearing what happened in Paris, it hit me so bad, because I lived in France for over a year when I was in my early 20’s….I arrived to my studio that morning and wanted to start working on a new painting I was thinking the week before; but when I started painting, I realized I painted an Angel sleeping and her wings was black color and covered with blood.."

A little information about me, the artist:

 

Hi.. my name is Marianna Mills a Hungarian born self-taught artist, photographer, designer, entrepreneur.. a dreamer. After my divorce in 2013, I arrived to the USA seeking asylum with my two children and living in Maryland since and still waiting for our status being adjusted.. I don't know what I have done without being able to create, as art was always there for me to surrendered and give me strength to keep going..
